Background Info:
This set consists of two stamps with values of 3.50 and 13.00. A souvenir sheet (78×102 mm.) composed of two sets of the stamps as well as a booklet composed of six sets were released on the same day. The booklet stamps have two sides perforated, but the top and bottom sides are imperforate, the size of stamp is 26×38 mm. The twelve sets of the stamps in the third cycle of the New Year's Greeting Stamps, are divided into four groups, to be selected every three years. The design for this year depicts one of the twelve animals-the rooster which is associated with the year 1993.
