Background Info:
To stimulate public interest in Chinese traditional culture and folklore art, this Directorate released a set of Children's Plays Postage Stamps. The set consists of four 3.00 stamps. They depict four kinds of play of childhood-the toy windmill, the top, the woven-grass grasshopper and the bamboo pony. In addition, a souvenir sheet (150×100 mm.) was issued, composed of one each of the four stamps. A booklet consisting of two sets of the stamps was also issued on the same day. The booklet stamps have two sides perforated, but the top and bottom sides are imperforate, the size of stamp is 30×44mm.
